THE SPACE
Daisy is a light-filled, 45m² (485 sq. ft.) apartment for two, designed with curated boho-chic interiors and thoughtful details at every turn. Originally built in the early 1800s and lovingly renovated, every room opens onto lake views — including straight from your queen-sized bed. The thick historic stone walls keep the apartment naturally cool in summer, and the indoor candle fireplace makes it irresistibly cozy in winter.
THE LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN
Two large lake-view windows flood the living room with natural light. Step straight out onto your private terrace from the sofa, or work at the dining table for two — which doubles as a dedicated workspace with fast, stable Wi-Fi (our guests confirm it’s reliable for video calls). The fully equipped kitchen features premium appliances, including:

THE BATHROOM
One of the most-talked-about features of Daisy. The en-suite bathroom is divided into two areas: a spacious anteroom with dual sinks, and a walk-in rain shower set against a stunning exposed natural rock feature — the original 1800s foundation of the house built into the hillside. Unique, beautiful, and completely unexpected.
THE BEDROOM
Wake up to lake views from your queen-sized bed, dressed in cotton linens. Eclectic, lovingly chosen furnishings, a window-door opening directly onto the terrace, blackout curtains for a perfect night’s sleep, and a built-in closet for comfortable longer stays.
THE TERRACE
Your private terrace is the heart of the apartment. Bathed in afternoon and evening sun, it delivers an uninterrupted 180° panorama of Lake Como. There is also the common terrace and garden that feature:

• Armchairs and a low table — perfect for sunset aperitivos
• Outdoor dining table for two — alfresco meals with the best view on the lake

Daisy is fully pet-friendly — we even prepare a little welcome gift for your furry companion. Families with young children are warmly welcome: high chair and crib, both available on request. Please note this listing is best suited for mobile guests comfortable with the stairs.

On cooler evenings, the indoor candle fireplace transforms the living room into the most romantic spot on the lake. Curl up with a book from our collection, stream on the 32” Smart TV (Netflix included), play a board game, or simply listen to the silence — broken only by birdsong and the distant sound of boats. Pure dolce far niente.
LOCATION & GETTING AROUND
Pognana Lario is a genuine hidden gem — an authentic Italian village away from the tourist crowds, yet perfectly connected to everything Lake Como offers:
• Public ferry dock: 2-minute walk (scenic rides to Bellagio, Como & beyond)
• Bus C130: 3-minute walk uphill — direct to Como (25–30 min) and Bellagio (30–35 min)
• Lake swimming spot: 5-minute walk
• Local minimarket, Peppo’s Bar & Villa Lario restaurant: all within walking distance
• Como town: 20 minutes by car • Bellagio: 25 minutes
• Free parking: 5 public lots nearby (3–8 min walk)
One note on the stairs: Pognana Lario is built into the hillside — there are approximately 200 steps from the main road to Daisy. Pack light and save your energy for the views. As dozens of our guests have put it: “worth every single step.”

Pognana Lario is an ancient small sleepy town, conveniently located between Como and Bellagio. It has a very laid back atmosphere. Picturesque Torno is only a 10 minute drive. The Public boat dock from where you can take the ferry to Como or Bellagio, for example, is only 2 min walking down the stairs. Bus stop to Como and Bellagio is within 5 min walk up the stairs :). There is a grocery shop (and a butcher) with everything you need and a great café bar a few minutes walk from Daisy as well as a few nice restaurants within the vicinity. Pognana also offers a great base for hikes along the famous "Strada Vecchia Regina". Pognana Lario's slogan is: ''Best sunset views at Lake Como'' and Daisy (as part of our Big House) truly lives up to it :)
